The Selogriyo temple is an ancient temple which is located inthe Magelang region at Central Java. The temple was built in the 9th century AD, during the Ancient Mataram Kingdom. It architecture is classical Indonesian and as it comes from a Hindu background the temple is facing eastwards.
Our journey will start from the village Campurejo. From there it’s a leisure 3 km walk through villages and farming land. You will love the stunning panoramas of lush green rice terraces whih are to be seen everywhere. It’s a very relaxing walk where you can breath the wonderful fresh air.
=After your visit to the temple a delicious picnic lunch at the temple complex will be served after which we will return to our pickup point.
